I feel for this man but this is a lesson to all to make sure their paper work is properly looked over and handled before conducting ANY business no matter how big the artist/ producer is. NEGOTIATE!! It’s cool to say you have worked with someone as big as Drake but it’s even cooler to make sure you and your family are straight for life. Some percentage is better than no percentage. Nowadays it’s too much information out there to be screwed over. The industry is cut throat. Hope Quentin gets his just due out of this situation.

To be fair, this wasn’t from ignorance. He stated why he did what he did. He was signed with someone. They wouldn’t let him out the contract and so he wrote songs for people and got paid under the table… so, had he not been under contract, he could’ve got his publishing. Still feel bad for him.
