Lasooni Palak #shorts
Ingredients
1 Bunch - 250g Spinach- boil in hot water for 3-4 mins remove and place in a big bowl of ice water. Squeeze the water out and blitz to a fine paste.
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp jeera
2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
5-6 cloves of garlic, sliced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera powder
1/4 tsp haldi
2tbsp besan
1 tomato, finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp kasoori methi
1 tsp black salt
2 tbsp fresh cream
Heat oil in a pan. Add in the jeera, green chillies, garlic & cook it for a minute. Add in the onions & cook it for 2 minutes on medium heat. Add in the ginger garlic paste & cook for a minute or till the raw smell goes. Add in the coriander powder, jeera powder & haldi & mix well. Add in the besan & cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Add the tomatoes. Mix well & add in the salt & sugar. Next, add in the spinach paste, kasoori methi, black salt & cream & cook for 5-6 minutes.
You can add-
1 cup Boiled Corn or
1 cup Sautéed Mushroom or
350g Paneer
Tadka
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp jeera
2-3 dried red chillies
10 cloves of garlic, sliced lengthwise
Heat the butter in a pan. Add in the jeera, red chillies & garlic. Cook the garlic till it browns slightly. Add this to the palak. Serve hot with roti or rice & dig in.!
