1) do you take custom orders for people? and 2) when will the tutorial video be up on how to do a kart wheel like that? Not naming names, but some people out here be struggling

great bench. I need to make one like that. Where'd you get the really straight 2x4s? The ones in the big box stores here are never that good. Looking forward to more videos.

Haha! I picked through the pile at a certain big box store, they were in good shape for once! 🫣

That mat is a great idea! Are you concerned about the bench sagging in the middle? I've always put a center post in, or 2 vertical supports on each side in the middle... and now you have me wondering if it was unnecessary.

I'm not, but most of my projects aren't overly heavy. I considered adding a second shelf to half of the table, but decided it was unnecessary (until I accumulate more stuff haha). I'll keep you posted and do a modification video if it does end up sagging! Fingers crossed!

Nice and straightforward build! 3M #77 Spray Adhesive is one of my favorites too...Powerful! Curious, what is the overall height of your table with the casters on, from floor to mat surface? I've been planning to build one like yours but keep trying to decide the easiest and most cost effective way to make it an adjustable height surface top.....so it's comfortable to use whether I'm standing or sitting. Ideally, I need it to go from 30" high (seated height) to 35" (standing height). ~~Christy~~

Hey Christy! Sorry for the delay. I went back and forth for a finish height for my table because I also like to work standing, and sometimes sitting. I ended up making my tabletop hit 36" high so I can stand at it. I did a quick search on adjustable height casters but didn't come up with much - I think your best bet would be to get an adjustable stool so you can be comfortable sitting even at a higher height - that's what I ended up doing! one nice thing is that the bottom platform feels like it's at a natural height to rest my feet on - which is great because sometimes I sew and the pedal would be too low if I put it directly on the floor. Hope that helps!

Deng. I thought a 4’x8’ cutting mat would be way more expensive than that. Maybe I need to think about a new bench 🧐

It's a little pricey, but worth it for the projects I get myself into!
