You do not need CFD and Wind Tunnel time to create parts, so in this case we put all of it into the underfloors. The lower lifespan means that we will need to make more but we will lose a fair amount of parts due to crashes and other incidents anyways. In my opinion the gain in performance is worth it as you can make up for the extra expenditure on parts by doing sponsor goals.

I don't think every team can do the "intense" plan IMO, but the great thing is there's a lot of ways to get things done in F1 manager. I started with haas (on the lower end of budget) and focused on rushed and high-performance parts with low durability to get some points and buy some lee-way with the board. currently I have high confidence, more confidence means more board payments and more money from sponsors. i think when you're lower budget you just need to get your way up the grid as quickly and cheaply as possible. also remember you're probably going to have to buy replacement powertrain parts which also eat massively into your budget.

Ï prefer using intense designs as they give boost to the next design aswell, the reason for using intense development although it is more expensive, is that manufacturing parts is more expensive aswell, so I'd rather do one project than 2-3 and have to manufacture parts for all 3. Havent tested normal/rushed much in this game, but in 22 doing intense was the most efficient way of designing parts, and seems to still be but wouldnt surprise me if they have made some balancing changes to were normal/rushed is going to be doable. In this years edition CUDA hours are basically just extra days of expertise. As such I usually just do it simple and put it all into one part, mainly the underfloor for the first few iterations since it helps with everything. There isn't really a wrong way to use CUDA hours, but to really take advantage of them you need to make another design after you make the CUDA design as the statboost from expertise gets applied after the design is completed. For research you don't have to worry as it gets directly applied to your expertise. So again, no real wrong way to use it as each unit is equal to 1 day of design/research.

how many CFD and Wind tunnel hours do you give to each part?
@NeroBax

For the first few go arounds I would focus all of it on the underfloor, but as I haven't really experimented much with it yet there might be a case for going 50/50 for parts or going 25/25/25/25 in terms of allocation. For your first season I'd say a good bet is your underfloor and wings as your focus areas.

My biggest issue is time. I would like a true Sim where I don't have to waste hours managing a rave. I just want to Sim through race to race, and no, fast forwarding through races and quali is not a middle ground

@@a21wat you cant simulate races, the most you can do is leave at 16x speed and just leave ers battle assist on and just manage essential things like pitstops but thats not how the game should be played
