So for the Cricut Air 2 they don't refer to blades in degrees, rather fine, extra fine and something else. Would these 30, 45, and 60 mean the same? Will these blades work with the Cricut? I know your transfer tape is the BOMB I love it.

This video is about Roland Compatible Blades. Cricut, Silhouette, and others like that use specialty designed blades for their machines so these won't work.

Are the premium blades sold for the SC-2? Also, I'm wanting to cut some mylar stencil material on my SC-2. Suggestions? 60 degrees?
@uscuttervideos

That is correct! All of the USCutters use the same type of Roland Compatible blades and we offer them in the normal and premium. Mylar on an SC-2? You are going to need a carrier sheet and a 60° blade with high pressure, and it will also depend on how thick the material is so I can't guarantee it will work.

I notice when cutting sometimes it doesn’t cut material all the way through. It will cut the top part of a letter while leaving the bottom not completed or scored. I am using 45 blade on calendared vinyl. My setting ls are at cut speed: 300, baud rate 9600 and cut depth 100 on the MH series. What suggestions do you have on improving cuts? How or when should I consider when making adjustments on the vinyl cutter?

You should always perform a test cut before starting any job. Blades can dull and cutting stips can wear out over time so you always want to run the test cut to make sure your machine is set to handle the material correctly.

USCutter Videos The test cut works fine. It’s during the design where the issue arises. Should I adjust the cut depth a little more? I put in a brand new blade too.

You are going to want to contact a support agent at SUPPORT@USCUTTTER.COM and explain the issue to them. They will have you run some tests to determine what the issue is.

Usually, a 45° or 60° will work for that. If it is thicker then you want to stick with the 60°!

@@uscuttervideos I thought 60° is for small fine lettering?!

@@assadnujjoo The 60° blade penetrates deeper than other blades making it great for thicker materials. This angle also has more of the edge of the blade coming into contact with the material making it better for cutting detailed cuts, but you are also still limited by your machine.

@@uscuttervideos Ok. Roland sp540i doesn't cut the siser brick 600 htv, had to use the 45° blade. That's why I was asking.
