Hi Gerry, Funny to see the different colors for the wiring in Ireland. Here in the US, it is black (hot) and white (neutral) and red (second hot leg) if you are working on a 220V circuit. Green is still ground (or earth). Nice job on the lights. Thanks for the video! -mike

Always hockey stick the exposed cores of the cables going in to the block conectors, that way you get twice the cross-sectional contact with the screw in the block connector which will result in a lower resistance in the circuit. Always make sure the Earth wire is longer than the live and the neutral in the event of the light being knocked off the wall the Earth wire will still be attached after the Live and neutral are pulled out making sure it’s always earth connection back to the consumer unit Allowing your Rcd to operate. But always keep up the good work Jerry we all love a trooper 👍👍👍👍👍

As always, thumbs up Gerry! A shame the older light got broken but accidents do happen. Both sets of lights look very nice. Doc

You got a good day for the replacement. I have found the cross head rust easy. Being old hand its brass for me. How is the waste oil burner doing.
