Just checked under my lower eyelid by taking a couple of close-up selfies with my iPhone. An ER Doctor performed the "eyelid" anemia test on me a few days ago. He told me that is what he was doing, pulled my lower eyelid out just as you show and looked for "white" coloration. I was being admitted due to passing "massive" amounts of blood from complications that began a week after removal of large polyps during a routine Colonoscopy screening. Thanks for posting MrDidrill

I was outside not in direct sunlight but with plenty of natural light when I took the selfies. Also, complications from colonoscopy can occur one to two weeks after the procedure. This, according to the Gastroenterologist who performed my original screen and the follow-up procedure that confirmed polyp sites bleeding were responsible for my blood loss. Also thankfully the polyps discovered were benign.

This is great information. Thank you. Sarsaparilla, burdock, and yellow dock are excellent forms of iron. I know supplements are easier but if you want something more natural or from nature, those three roots are great sources

That it's not good. When my iron level was at 8 my doctor told me to take two iron pills per day, and be careful that I don't do this for too long and end up with iron poisoning.

Look at this man's fingernails, too. Real doctors back in the day would always examine ur eyes, fingernails & tongue when you go annually for a complete physical checkup. Today a so-called complete physical ckup they do very little. Is it lack of old school medical knowledge or just plain laziness, who knows. It's probably b\c they don't really care. So why bother to go if you're feeling alright.

It is just an indicator, that you can look at, when you test low, and then later, after taking iron.

You don;t usually take a blood test everyday, and some people need more iron than others. Also, too much iron is deadly. My Doctor told me to take 2 iron pills a day, but never told me when to stop, and the accumulation almost killed me. Since then I use the procedures in the video to check my iron level in between blood tests

@@MrDidrill I have to do a blood test frequently to measure blood thickness (INR) as a result of the installation of a metal, upper aortic heart valve. Warfarin you know. For me, the proof is in the weekly blood test pudding as they say. There are "tell-tail signs" but knowing the facts trumps all else.

@@shayanqeshmi7784 The only way to know if the baking soda is raising your PH, is to check it with PH test paper. Not all fruits and juices are alkaline, and can be harmful. Also, just drinking one cup of coffee will counteract any good that baking soda does. If your kidneys still get worse, even after having a verified high PH, then it would seem that it was some other unrelated cause.
