Has a Kubota Tractor like that in your picture- loved it ! - Also just ordered the Quickjack 7000TL and hope no delivery issues or set-up problems. Now want the caster wheels and have seen the"Insanely Priced" ones that look just great but trust the "Wealthy of Us" (Sure not me ) that can afford them like them. Good down to earth video, Thanks ! At 2:12 I wondered what you were going to do with that butane lighter you were holding in your left hand, then realized it was a flashlight. Helpful video. Thanks for posting!

Instructions say to use stands. I'm not sure how many people do.

Ah good ol’ trusty dad will take care of your car for ya! Good job on the maintenance. Ain’t it funny how we look for projects once we have super cool and efficient tools like this!? Expecting my 5000 to arrive next week sometime!

Now, me, I would remove the drain plug and loosen the filter and let it drain a bit. While that's going on, I'd grab the impact and bust loose all the lugs. Then switch-a-roo the wheels, and start all the lugs by hand. Then. then tighten them all down. Then jump under reinstall drain, install filter. Lower the car, pour in the oil. Then check all the air pressure. Now if we can get you to start pouring that Amsoil in the motor, then that would make them cars runs smooth and long.

The extra few inches of lift of the TL will be great. You’ll like it.

Great video and thank you for it! Do you have your vehicle in park or neutral when lifting with Quickjack? I would think the vehicle would go up smoother in neutral being the lift goes up at an angle.

I leave it in park. I don’t notice anything when going up. Coming down the tires will slide a tiny bit but not enough to worry about.

The front looked lower. Do you think that was just due to the weight of the car engine? Or would the front be higher if you drove in vs backed into the garage? Just thinking the quick jack may lift differently based on the car’s lift point location and the direction of the vehicle. Either way it worked out great.

That is where the engine is.... I'd turn those jacks 180 deg for it.

I noticed going up the front seemed to be lower..maybe the camera angle.

I have the TL and I'd say it's ok, but only if you're lucky and get one without a defective air cylinder. If you do get one of those you're screwed - the company will 100% not stand behind their product. They'll claim the air-assist down isn't "necessary to the function of the lift". Really? So if one side has air assist down and the other doesn't, and they drop unevenly, that's safe? And then when the vehicle drops to the ground and one side of the lift goes straight to the full down position while the other... doesn't. You need to wait... and wait... and wait for it to drop with no weight on it. Quickjack will claim this "is normal operation" and that "it will get better over time". If you invest a massive amount of time trying to get them to stand behind their product they will, eventually, after burning through every once of customer goodwill, send out a new cylinder. Yay! Until you get the replacement and the freakin' air side is literally capped off. Like intentionally made unusable. That's not a fix guys. Then they'll claim that the engineers decided the down-assist wasn't necessary and that they've changed the design on future models. But I didn't buy a future model with less functionality. I bought the current model with exactly the functionality I wanted, was promised, and paid for. Whatever. Too much time wasted on it already - I've written off the entire company as another skanky marketing hack with no integrity. I still have it in my shop, but the company worked very hard to make me regret my purchase and it low-key pisses me off every time I look at it. And honestly the setup is inconvenient enough that even when I do pull it out - warts and all - it happens very rarely. Only when I have a longer term project where I know the vehicle will be on the lift for a week or two. Definitely not for things like oil or tire changes. It's just way quicker to use a floor jack, or even ramps.

Doing your own rotations, tires no longer warranted for tread wear. Taking it to the shop, greater chance for warped rotors. I had couple of yahoo mechanics tightened lug nuts to over 250 ft-lb for cars no more required over 80 ft-lbs. One time cost me over $400 for new rotors 20 years ago. As for oil change I hear some dealers don't change filter even you paid for it and use the cheapest oil and charge for synthetic. Those guys are too busy and its not their cars or the mechanic pissed at his performance review and take it out on the customers.

don't buy this product as you need to deal with fluid and air leaks. there are other product that doesn't need hydralic fluid or air such as TLX-7000

Interesting. In a year and a half I haven’t experienced any leaks from mine. I did add Teflon tape to the air fittings when I first got it. Experiences may vary.
