WTF. Been dialing in back torque. Used this yesterday. The towards,away, towards and the forward back as u jump on joystick. Bro, locked in sliding like butter grabbed everytime. How do u figure this stuff out? I was laughing to myself everytime I laced it. You are a genius. Thanks coach!!!

I remember when torques started back in 1998. It's crazy to see people actually do these frontside instead of backside since it's 100x more difficult. Man, skating has progressed. Good video, thanks for the content

The pistol squat stagger made me laugh. I’ve doing “Yoga with Adrienne” video follow alongs since last December and her balance is perfect!... among other things that she’s so talented at with yoga. I’m hoping one day to be super good at balancing in different one leg postures. Also I just watched Ricardo Lino’s tutorial with Adrienne Anne on how to fast slide. I liked your review more. I can see you put a lot of effort in this video. I also wondered before where and “torque” became a thing. I’m in Illinois and I’ve always said farvenugen and fastslide.

Fastslide it's just the H-block, Torque is boot down, H-block/Backslide

Hey Bro.. just caught your channel cos I was considering getting back into this..I'm in my late 40s now. I picked up inclines back in the 90s (California vacation) OXYGEN with PBS brakes. Before I sell this as an antique Do you recommend I remove the brake before I skate? And what tips do you have for cold weather.. ie. Warm ups Vs overexertion?!? Really appreciate you keeping this alive, man - glad I found your channel!

So do most people to be fair! Dude's clearly in v. good shape, so I'd recommend working up to it from standard squats and building to that point. He makes them look easy, but anyone hasn't tried it will quickly realise it is anything but easy.
@RobertAkeemGreen

@@Axle_grinds I'm in every good shape I'd like to think so. But I know there's levels to it like anything. I'm also dealing with injuries too. Every morning I wake up stiff I purposely wash the dishes and take out the trash and do chores just to get my body warmed up. But I definitely will begin my work on restrengthening my joints. Good looking out

For me The Flexibility was the issue for the pistol squat with full leg extension, I started hockey at 5yo so I always as strong leg so squat on one or two foot didn't make a big difference, the difference came when I started grabbing I realise I had to fight throught some resistance especially in my legs but a bit in my back too so be sure to listen your body and be able to do this move freely without feeling stiff That's how I discover some stretching for my back quads by making a step forward about 6inches, leg full extended , spine straight but the hips slighty pushing backward and you slighty bend your chest forward you will feel the tension in the back quads of front leg as you start bending✌

@@RobertAkeemGreen my body's the same, but what does washing the dishes do?
@RobertAkeemGreen
3 жыл бұрын
@@dwainwilson5080 simple things can do alot bro. Just depends on where you trying to take it with your intent. For me after a hard fall on the wrists it does wonders soaking them in hot water then rinsing in cold. Then it also gets things done in the house to where it create a sense of peace and order. Idk just me but overall, I was speaking to getting up and moving around to fully lubricate the joints my brotha
