what if you only want to apply it to certain colors ?

Interesting. I think you would have to have those colours on a separate layer and then deal with that in the compositor creating a mask out of that layer

@@2dToolbox thanks, i will look how to create a mask for that particular color layer. i was trying to only apply the noise to only the color but had no clue what to search for
