Thanks for the review, I am enjoying it. I fall asleep to Quidditch Through the Ages audiobook pretty often and know it almost by heart. Therefore, I would like to share some insights about the images. 0:29 The creature on the broomstick is a quidditch player transfigured into a polecat during the first Quidditch World Cup. There are so many bats, because bloodsucking bats were let out during the game. The picture of it (placed both on the cover of the book and inside it) is so chaotic, because there were so many fouls during the game. Also, I believe, the illustrator imitates the peculiar style of Flemish painters. The image reminds me of Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch. The first folded illustration is a direct quatation from the chapter about Snidget hunting. It's really exciting.

Hi :) ! I have this, but the 20th year anniversary illustrated edition. I love the fact that the cover is a beautiful bold blue. However, I don't know if you can order from amazon.ca, but if you can you should definitely do it! You're really lucky to be located in the US when it comes to currency exchange. The Deluxe edition of Quidditch through the ages is $158 CAD so it's currently $124.5 USD. Sometimes, the rate is like 30% so it would be even better for you. I own the 3 first books regular illustrated edition and the Prisoner of Azkaban deluxe edition. I'm planning to get the Goblet of fire, but I don't know if I should get the regular illustrated edition or the deluxe one first, as it's my favorite book. What would you do? Also thinking of adding The tales of Beedle the Bard, but don't know which edition to go for :/ . Love this video

I will have to look into Amazon.ca and see if I am able to use it! If so that could possibly be amazing, even though my checking account may cry! Lol. And do you plan on collecting both the illustrated and deluxe illustrated? I think for myself it would depend on how I planned to use it! If it is your favorite book and you plan on actually reading it and looking at it often I myself would probably get the regular illustrated edition... BUT if you are looking for more of a collector piece, that you don’t plan on using that much, then that’s when I go Deluxe :)

@@MagicalAli Tbh when it comes to the books, I only read the paperback editions or the basic hardcovers as I don't want to ruin them haha. The only reason why (other than the price) I have gotten the illustrated ones is because I hope that one day I will have children and will be able to read it to them, without being scared of ruining the books. Since I'm not having children any time soon, I guess that I will follow your advice and go for the Deluxe illustrated edition. Thanks for the advice :)
