The drake bell story was so sad and horrifying. And knowing that he’s been abusive to women and underage girls makes it so much sadder. Like he continued the cycle of abuse and clearly never dealt with his trauma and it ended up creating more victims.

Everytime I look at Amanda my heart breaks. In the 90s-Y2K, in regards to the white girls and the main powerhouses of that time, Amanda and Lindsay Lohan were ruling Hollywood and doing a total take over; Amanda was Nickelodeon’s golden girl and cash cow and Lindsay Lohan was Disney’s golden girl and cash cow: they had the looks, I remember there was so many different commercials and magazine pages trying to get the Amanda hair- especially the Girl’s Room hair that Chioma showed in this clip- the most merchandise, most interviews, most magazine covers/pages, most brand deals, turned out the most work from being a kid till adulthood, had little to no scandals, started putting out music and music videos, they were IT Girls. Then they fell off the deep end with alcohol, drugs, and went through the stereotypical “child actor bad kid phase”. I’m happy Lindsay is back at and quite literally looking more like herself, both in attitude and her physical appearance. I really hope the same for Amanda. She did at one point when she was on a super clean streak, stopped with the wigs and hair dye, lost weight and started eating healthy, but she relapsed supposedly being found walking around naked in LA and had to be readmitted. I really hope Amanda heals. If anything happened to her, with the rumors she got pregnant by someone on set (that person being Dan) while she was 13 and the abortion after has given her fertility and menstrual issues till this day, at this point it’s sad to say “I wouldn’t be shocked”, but I’m truly hoping she heals in a healthy way because no one deserves that. I always had a crush on Kyle and Drake from the Nick boys, and was having a bittersweet feeling when I saw them bring Kyle on since ya know, Quiet on Set isn’t talking about rainbow and sunshine so I was worried Kyle was going to say he was abused as well. What I was not expecting was Kyle talking about the party at Brain Peck’s house. My jaw drop when JOHN WAYNE GAYCE was somehow name dropped and involved. How was this not ringing alarms that someone who works with children is idolizing and has an active relationship to a recently convicted footafile and murderer!? If I was a parent hearing this I would be thinking the worst like “this sick f@&$ is getting the next round of kids ready for this guy!” I would have been scared my kid is gonna be kidnapped or dead. My heart broke when I was watching Drake’s dad cry after he was trying so hard to protect him and his son still got hurt- like I was crying harder than him. That must be the most demoralizing, soul ripping feeling as parent. I hope both he and Drake heal from it because I know they’ve both come out saying they feel like failures in some way *CAUSE OF THAT* incident. I kinda knew about Drake being the victim, the sexual abuse and jokes going on cause I watch Sloan’s channel, but it still didn’t change the heart drop I had when he actually confirmed it was him. Actually alot of this stuff I knew beforehand cause of Sloan’s channel, but it still didn’t change my shock when watching Quite on Set. Edit: As much as I love my childhood and the things that give me nostalgia, so much of it has been tainted and I can’t really look at it the same. It’s just horrendous for everyone.

I cried listening to Drake, in a way I felt connected because I’m also a survivor of CSA, but the fact that Drake & Josh was one of my biggest escapes from my very harsh reality? Did we forget/forgive Drake Bell for his predatory behavior toward an underage minor & charged with child endangerment once this Doc came out? Yeah he was abused but doesnt excuse anything. Once you become an adult, while it sucks, its your job to fix yourself. So the cycle of abuse and trauma doesn't continue.

You can have sympathy for what happened to him as a child of course, he didn't deserve to be assaulted obviously, but it's hard for me to sympathize with somebody who continues the cycle of abuse. He's self-aware enough to make this documentary on what happened to him but not aware enough to admit, apologize, or sympathize to his victims that he's hurt the way that Dan hurt him 💔
@Sugieb

@@freedomdestiny8269 oh no most definitely! I just think him being in the documentary points out how the abused are more likely to become the abuser in the future. And how sad it is that it creates a cycle that’ll hurt more people later on
@blackrainbow6720

He is not an abuser. The girl had a fake IG profile and lied about her age and about sending inappropriate images, months of investigation cleared him, and he was not accused of any physical abuse. He sent inappropriate messages to a person he believed to be an adult, and stopped the messages when he learned her true age. He is only guilty of the messages, because he didn't think it could be a minor (she however lied).
