Finally! You made the traditional block AND used the Magic 8 hsts, the No Waste FG (but you used larger fabric squares & had some waste) for both sets of geese instead of more hsts. My brain figured this layout the same way you did but no other tutorial I've seen does this! I did NOT want to snowball with triangles & thus waste more fabric. Thank you for using the modern quilting easy shortcut methods which makes this block easier.

Hi Deborah, thanks for your comments. I sometimes like to cut my pieces bigger so that I can trim them down to the correct size :) Happy Quilting, Jayne

Hello, I just found your videos & have subscribed to your channel. I ❤️ yor easy to follow method of teaching, your choice of quilt blocks & the gorgeous fabrics!!! Your wonderful Brittish accent is also a plus! In this video, you asked for suggestions as to what block we would like made by you. Since my passion is PEACOCKS & PEONIES, (my kitchen & dining room 'theme') would you please do a video on making a realistic 'dancing' peacock (tail feathers opened upright) with CORAL PEONIES applique block? I also love the Brittish Peacock Butterfly. So I am humbly & eagerly awaiting to see if you will take these two suggestions to heart! Thank you kindly from USA.

Such beautiful work and lovely videos! I am trying to make the Crows Foot block as well but in an 8" square. Do you happen to have the measurements for cutting the fabric? I'm new to quilting and need all the help I can get! :)

Hi Lynn, the ruler is the Ultimate Flying Geese Tool by Deb Heatherly for Creative Grids. I like this ruler because you can use it for many different sizes of flying geese. Happy quilting, Jayne
