Enso is such a good dog when you came upstairs he didn't get underfoot and remained still when you rounded the corner into a new area. And your husband is the best: at taking excellent videos indoors & outside too including the editing which is difficult, making you furniture for your sewing projects and driving to your heart's desire when your on the road; what gems you've got. And I enjoyed seeing all that snow from the upstairs windows - what a view ! What is your favorite season living is Sisters & why? Oh, and I almost forgot you provided us a most wonderful tour, thank you; my sewing rooms could never be under the magnification of a video tour - too messy.

Hi Anna, thank you SEW much for making room for my sewsister Barbara and me at Sisters sit-and-stitch this summer. My favorite parts of your sewing room is the welcome table and your beautiful family stove. I am having a hard time for over half a year, since my mom died and I brought home lots of sewing and handcraft supplies, but your video is inspiring me to tackle the bittersweet integration of her things with mine, and then using her things. Thanks again, Anna. Greetings to G and Enzo!

When that will be I don`t know but stitching some wall hangings to be ready :) My hubby has made the draws for a quilting table. Only the top to be done so may sewing machine is flat in it and the draw handles to be picked out and attached. Looking forward to that. It will be placed at one end of our lounge, where I sew with my machine. Hand stitching is at the other end, that`s the lounge. I brought sewing wall hangers for putting threads and scissors to hang off. Always make sure they get put back.

I have all kinds of spaces and as we progress through the different stages of life our needs change. My favorite thing about my current sewing room is the windows and all the light they provide:)

I love all of it, some fantastic ideas that I am going to use. I also LOVE the drive through town, it makes my eyes leak abit at seeing the places I used to go. Thank you again and again, this does my heart❤ good. ps if you know Piedad (Pe-a-thod) (hair dresser) please tell her hello from Celita for me.

Anna, Some time ago you showed how you hang your wall hangings on the stairwell walls. It was a not nails method using something like velcro tape. I've tried to look it up in my bookmarks and could not find the episode. I love your sewing room.

Dear Anna, this is the coziest sewing room, I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing your organizational tipps. I also have an old stove from my parents and it is currently sitting in the garage. I have been wondering what to do with it since childhood memories stop me from throwing it out and I think I will put it in my sewing room also.

Thanks for sharing your space with us - love your cozy room. I got several ideas from your tour - the Stella lamp, how you store your bins and sort your fabric.... I am curious about about the comment you made about turning your grandchildrens art into embroidery pieces. I searched under "grandchildren art embroidery" and found nothing. Can you explain this or share a site that will educate me please. I too am in need of a better sewing chair so will take the info you shared in an earlier post. Thanks for all your videos too

glad you came away with some good ideas...and the chair is amazing! As for grandchildren's art...you can take a drawing made by a grandchild...so a tracing of it on fabric, then use Crabapple Hill Studios method of coloring on fabric...once the crayon is set you can embroider it, frame, make a quilt with panels or make a pillow :)

I always enjoy your videos. You and G do such a nice job on them. I feel like I know you both (and Enzo too, of course) as if we were old friends. You are so warm, welcoming, and unassuming. Wish I lived on the left coast so I could sit and stitch with you but alas, I am on the right coast. I have a thera-cane and yes, it works well. As someone else asked, what is the name of that chair and where can one get it? I have an old chair l like but need another and the office chairs just don't seem to work very well. Oh and it seemed to me that I saw a long arm with frame in your studio at one point. Did you get rid of that to get the Sweet 16? Does that mean that you have to baste your quilts now? Basting is my least favorite thing! Thanks so much for the tour and all the other videos especially the wool tutorials. And thanks to G for being so supportive.

I did trade the long arm out for the Sweet 16 but I seem to make smaller quilts now and use Hobb's 80/20 fusible batting which works great. If I happen to make a huge quilt i send it out :) That is the best part of these videos it doesn't matter where we live we can reach out to each other! My chair is called The skipper and is manufactured by Stump Home Specialties

Wow beautiful my sewing spot is very small it’s near my fire place I’m new at this and I really wanted to make a quilt I’m having a little trouble just spent alot of money on a really nice machine and rulers and other things I need to get a labtop so I can embroidery. I just got a pfaff creative 3.0 and I’ve spent a arm and a leg and I haven’t even made anything yet but I’m very excited to try my husband said I better get better at it because of the money I’ve spent lol I know I had a smaller machine I but I didn’t want to have to try to make a big quilt on a small machine I mean it’s not a long arm but it should be big enough to do what I need I don’t have room for a long arm
