This track is at least 30 years old. I worked at a radio station in 1992-93 and we got syndicated gag reels for the morning show. One recurring bit was called "Ted's TV Themes," with this guy singing weird lyrics to instrumental television theme songs. That's where I first heard this. He also did the themes to "Barney Miller," "I Love Lucy" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show," among others. None of them were as good as this one, though I still can't hear the "I Love Lucy" theme without wanting to sing "I love Lucy, but she is dead / So are Ricky, Et-hel and Fred!"

Always wondered what the source was, I couldn't see any others from some brief googling, do you have more information about this Ted guy?

This is freaking hilarious!! I died when he was like "there's a murder....it was POISON!!! Also the part where he was like "but oh boy on next is Barnaby Jones"!!! Pure genius!!

I just found this. This was great. I've liked Qunicy since I was a kid. Admittedly it got a bit too preachy towards the end of the series, especially the infamous anti-punk rock episode "Next Stop, Nowhere." 🤣

OMG, I freakin' LOVE this! We started watching Quincy again two weeks ago. That wacky theme song was just begging for lyrics.

5 months on, I'm pretty much convinced that this was a KZitem creation and nothing to do with Family Guy. Also, still amazing.

Um, no. This was on KZitem for ages. Nothing to do with Family Guy.

I doubt it. Did a quick search and nothing comes up for Family Guy referencing Quincy at all. I just think you came to the conclusion because this guy could arguably said to have a similar voice to Seth McFarlene.

I love this. You could re-record this with better graphics. Maybe do an extended megamix? :D

I've taken the audio and put it over a more watchable video. Surprised nobody else had already done it. Gotta preserve these old ass KZitem videos!

The Bonanza theme actually had lyrics. The cast sang them at the end of the pilot.

If you're going to add vocals, you should be able to sing well.
