Update: after recording this video I recently discovered that the issue with the John Deere 214 not getting enough fuel was the metal screen in the fuel tank was clogged with mud. All I did was drained the fuel tank and cleaned the screen while I was doing that I used vinegar and baking soda to clean any residue left in the tank then washed it out and let it dry.
On this episode of fixin it with Matt Gray All Day we had a chance on figuring out what the heck is making this late 70s John Deere 214 not want to start as it wasn't getting any spark but ran 3 years ago for a tractor show. The many causes where it sat outside which the weather got to it after running out of room inside, and also, she was a getting her cleaned up kind of tractor which I am planning to get restored to running great again.
