I was never homophobic, but I'm not straight and listening to people change their ways makes me emotional. It's so stupid and destructive to be homophobic.

I was a stereotype. I was homophobic because I couldnt aceppt myself possibly being bi. After I acepted it, I got so much empathy toward the others and their strugles.

I think we need to respect them and normalize every look. Sympathy or discrimination is an emotional state that shows you do not see them as a normal person.

@@linh88888 I just want to explain I was not homophobic as the type of people who bully others, more the "dont be gay in front of me" type of way. Ironically my childhood best friend was gay. See other people proud of their sexuality used to piss me off because I hated that part of myself, "how dare they dont hate themselves too"

I used to be one of those "Ex-LGBTQ+ Christians", but now I am an Atheist and I have fully accepted myself for who I am. Love is love, period.

I was homophobic because I was in denial (I am Pansexual and Gender fluid) Now days I accept it and I'm proudly out of the closet! 🩷💛💙 🩷🤍💜🖤💙 It's never too late to change, and is also never too late to accept yourself (if that's your case) ❤
