他の人も書いてるけど字幕は一瞬で読めなきゃいけないので意味が100%同じになるようには訳せないよね。 仕事で英語↔️日本語の翻訳したりするけど、例えば英語で"Our great progress…"とか書いてあるのも日本語は基本的に「我々の素晴らしい進展は!」とか言わないからgreatの部分は省くし、我々ってのもなんか変だから変えるし……等々変えていくと結果的にかなり違った文章になるのよね。
Gosh I love both of you guys and I've been watching you guys individually so this is ABSOLUTELY AN AMAZING collaboration!!!!!! I wonder when the second language will be a part of my instinct since I'm still making so many grammatical mistakes when I'm drunk or upset which won't happen in my first language...and I guess the way Matt is acquiring Japanese could be a key.

I was just thinking that you needed to collab with Matt lately :)
Just know that matt’s English is exceptional as well. Most English speakers don’t speak as well as he does. This is a good thing if you want to sound like an educated English speaker vs the average sound. All the while he uses common things like “cool, cool” so in the end he is still approachable and relatable to any English speaker.
Thanks for the timestamps, that helps make things easier.

This was fun like i know what the jlpt test is, and maybe I'd explain it to a Japanese person, oh it's like toeic, but now I can be fancy and say 日本語能力試験
