I believe Kellz. In his book he said he waited for weeks, which turned into months, and he didn't get a dime of that money. He said the check could've got lost in the mail for all he knew, but he blamed MGM, so after that he was like screw them niggas and kept it moving. MGM were replaced by PA. They kept MGM's vocals on that album, R. Kelly redid the lead vocals by changing the MGM wording to PA.

I have their single from 1990 and Born Into The 90's album and I can tell you it was MGM singing on Born Into The 90's album. Also on Marc's website i saw a modern photo of him and Marc, so they would have to talk from time to time. R. Kelly seems to tell too many fibs.

I read what Robert said in the book. However Marc told me he did pay Robert. Also Robert said he formed them in 1987 where Marc said to me they were formed in 1989. In the rap R. Kelly raps "Mentally Gifted and Wise". The truth always matches and makes sense, it seems some of the things R. Kelly has said doesn't make sense. I will explain in a private KZitem message.

@juicenc MGM aren't PA. When R. Kelly & MGM won the $100,000 first prize from Big Break, Tavdash Records sold them to Jive Records. There are two componants to the group R. Kelly, MGM. When it was first known how much Jive were going to pay, there were Internal disputes, Jive silent replaced MGM with PA.
