In this video i use the potential divider equation to define the transfer function of the RL circuit. This can be used to find the frequency, step and impulse response of the circuit. I show you how to derive both S and T domain equations for these responses.. I show the time domain derivation of the output voltage across the inductor and also highight why VL = Ldi/dt. In the next video (Part 6) I derive the equation for the current though the circuit, using both differential equation and Laplace methods.
