Fun fact: if the split was very clean the stern would have stayed afloat

Misconception. The breakup would have warped the bulkheads - regardless of being clean or not - and there were several holes that water could enter.

Ok lets talk about the break up the double bottom could not bend like an shoe leater if that even happened stern would go down inmediatly with the bow after break up. And it could be impossible that the non-buoyant water fulled bow would not make stern go down with him.

Hmmm what about the boiler implosion?
@patrickanderson9023
Жыл бұрын
@BB-61 Iowa There were no such ting. It is now known that none of the ship’s boliers exploded, and the only boilers who left their place during the sinking were the five boilers who were placed right were the Titanic split in half. But like i said, there is nothing at around the scene of the wreck which suggests that any of the ship’s boilers exploded during the sinking. Many survivors reported that they heard one or several «explosions» from the Titanic right towards the end of the sinking, most of the survivors said they thought this loud noise came from either the boilers and/or the engines leaving their beds and went crashing down into the Titanic. But these «explosions» came in fact due to the ship breaking up.
@sleekhangman1590
Жыл бұрын
@@patrickanderson9023 the boilers didn’t implode, the ship did. Because of the trapped air inside the stern, the air condenses as it falls lower. The air gets so compressed it implodes because of the pressure.

@@dariusthesimp5943 I 100% agree! This theory is very similar to the James Cameron 2012 theory, which I have a lot of issues with. The theory I currently believe the most is the theory from the book On a sea of glass. That theory just adds up the most to me. This animation is, as far as visuals, is pretty well done. It’s just riddled with inaccuracies: The ships sinking is very sped up, while things like the funnele collapsing and the breakup happen in real time, the port list doesn’t eliminate itself as the bridge goes under, the two forward funnels collapsing to port instead of starboard, the stern only rising like 15 degrees out of the water as opposed to the more likely 24 to 26 degree angle, the fact of the double bottom acts like a banana peel and breaks the laws of physics in every way possible, and also the stern not going vertical before it goes down. The list just goes on and on: The fact that the animation completely omits the forming of the forward and aft towers during the break up, and also the fact that the double bottom actually failed first... anyway, I’m just gonna stop there. I don’t wanna waste your time. Lol.
