Great video, thoughtful and well made! I enjoyed the packing, discussion about combinations, and of course the boots!

Interesting, i would have worn the Chelsea boots on the plane since they're easy on and off, and the TSA always makes me take my shoes off

Over here we have a 3D walk through scan, which then shuffles you to a specific narrow scan, so no need to take anything off if the walk through is good. Parkhurst have fibreglass shanks so no “ping”.

Wanted to mention, I bought my first pair of Jim greens , the rough out vellies, and wanted to thank you for your information and input on Jim greens in general. I enjoyed the boots so much I’m looking forward to adding a pair of African rangers next

I just love your video…loved the EDC pants and the leather bag you displayed..must appreciate your choice of outfits and color cause just with a few items you could very earlier swap and pair and it becomes like May 6-7 para of clothes…Cheers from Mumbai India…

That was actually quite useful! I usually have trouble deciding what to pack when traveling, I didn't even think about putting stuff inside the boots I use roomy boots when in the airplane, but those aren't the best for walking since I don't feel "supported" enough, so two boots might be quite useful

The advantage of taking jeans is that when you spill curry on them they don't show marks much or look that bad with a greasy mark. I envy that you can pack so much in hand luggage and being 1.94m tall with XXL clothing and size 12 UK footwear I'd probably need two bags for this amount of stuff. Plus the weight allowance on longer trips can be severely challenged.

I know almost nothing about Australian history, especially in regards to their indigenous people. Does the government give them reparations?
@Bootlosophy
7 ай бұрын
No
@je2338
7 ай бұрын
No reparations as such but they get billions in funding every year and have been handed back a lot of land similar to native Americans.
@Bootlosophy
7 ай бұрын
@@je2338 no they have not been “handed back land”. The Native Title legislation provides a process to claim land that is vacant crown land where no Torrens title exists. No one loses their backyard. The “billions of funding” are not paid to any individual. Sixty four percent is paid to government departments and agencies to “administer” programs like health and housing - non Indigenous people’s expected citizenship rights. Another 29% goes to Indigenous controlled agencies to administer municipal costs for communities - power and water and town services. The rest go to grants for various projects none of which are paid to Individuals except as salaries in those projects.

@Bootlosophy very well said Teik. Not only that you got a wonderful YT page about boots but you also maintain your values. Such values that every Australian should have (in my opinion) such as recognising the traditional owners of the Land, inspiring inclusivity, has high regard of fairness to workers and care for the environment. Good on you and Wish you all the best.

why not branch out a bit and review some fashion boots or things like lobb, edward green, etc instead of all the popular more high end reddit brands? Not trying to be mean but there are plenty of reviews of viberg, grant stone, etc but not a lot of reviews for other brands
@Bootlosophy

I’d love to but to review those boots I’d have to buy them. Do you have a rich uncle somewhere who could buy them for me? 🤣 Otherwise I’ll have to get round to them when I can afford them 🤷🏻♂️
