The real hero of the Star Wars galaxy in 1/12 scale. Painted and weathered to resemble the dirt and grime from the original trilogy. I'm not an expert, and this isn't a tutorial, so some steps may have been cut for time. Refer to your own instructions!
I use a brand called Golden Fluid Acrylics. For this model I used a combination of Cabon Black, Iridescent Silver (Fine), Titanium White, and Burnt Sienna/Yellow Ochre for weathering. There may have been some Chromium Oxide Green added to the mix as well, which is useful if you're going for a swampy look .You may benefit from some Vallejo Model Wash in Grey, although watering down some Carbon Black acrylic paint seems to work just as well for getting into the crevices. I'm definitely not going for perfection here. I highly recommend using whatever brand you can find and mixing and matching whatever colours you don't have. For weathering you can use a combination of different earth tones (browns, greens and yellows) to reach the desired level of dirt and grime.
