Also some of the condenser coils are run in the side walls of the fridge, if the sides get warm while in use then there are tubes in the sides as well. Just a note. You can charge a r 600 a with r 134 a. You just take the unit outside, tap the suction line with a valve, release remaining r 600a, pull system into a vacuum with a vacuum pump, then recharge with r134a you can use the cans of r 134 a that are sold at your local auto store or online from ebay. You will need a conversion adapter to adapt the r134a can to a manifold recharge hosr or gauge. Charge until suction frosts, and then back off of charging. Shut off freezer, wait 5 mins, restart freezer, observe suction line, if stays frosted, release just a little bit of the charge until no longer frosted. You may have to play around with this a little bit. Then let freezer run and observe inside cabinet temp and add the r134 a if needed. I have converted many r600a and r290a to r134a, and no issues with cooling. You just have to tweak tbe charge a little as you are using capiliary tubes that are meant for r600a. Hope this info is of help to you.

You hit the nail on the head buddy. Building in Jacksonville burned down brand new building 8 stories they were hush about what happened ! fire started on the roof and they could not stop it! Fire Marshall never discussed how it happened

@@dwightsmith5174 Ok you are amateur I am a fifty year refrigeration tech. I should have made it clear. You are calling the evaporation pan with a hot gas line running thru it an evaporator. The evaporator is located inside the box.I use 290 mostly but occasionally run into 600 on residential units. It's really no big deal and actually safe if you know what you are doing. Works really nice as the delta is way wider cutting down the cycle.

It's butane and enviro friendly and as good as any other gas used. Only 2.7 oz not too dangerous.

I agree. It's a very small amount. The HUGE warning signs are more for legal reasons, kind of like Prop 65 signs on EVERYTHING thanks to Commifornia. Well, the warnings are also for clueless people who will inevitably try to use blazing tools on them.🤣

You sound like your in panic mode. I haven't heard of them exploding. If you take a torch to them , your created a big problem, that is if you didn't flush the system with nitrogen first. Once an a non authorized person goes into the system, you own it at your expense.
