Due to track maintenance on the 4 line tunnels connecting between Manhattan and the Bronx, trains were split into 2 different sections for the weekend. 4 trains ran between Woodlawn and 125 Street and from Utica Avenue (day and evening)/New Lots Avenue (overnights) to 125 Street and via the 6 to/from 3 Avenue-138 Street. Because the latter section of 4 train service did not have access to Jerome yard this led to the 4 line using R62A equipment from the 6 line to run service on that section.
