I'm 19 years old building my first drag car project, and wiring in a Terminator X system right now. I've been binging on these videos lately and it's helping me a ton, and I'm trying to make sure this thing is as bulletproof as possible withing my budget lol.

I think the leash boards are a good middle ground when you compare the price of these things. A racepak costs 2200usd so its kinda expensive.

I love the videos that you are putting out and I know you are mainly doing Holley stuff because they own Racpak now, but do you think there is any chance you will do a comparison between the Smartwire and the ECUMaster PMU?

This is a great video, Thanks for Sharing! Hey I had a quick question about your comments regarding the ECU triggering fans, pumps, etc, and the use of the MSD in conjunction with the Smartwire. I'm trying to learn a bit more before I attempt a similar setup. So the amp "trigger " coming out of a standalone ECU would be enough to power on a "solid state relay" to then power that accessory, but not power the accessory all by itself; correct? Also, with the use of the Smartwire and the MSD solid state relays, is the smartwire output just used to trigger the solid state relay? (I know some may be obvious, but I just want to make sure I'm understanding these new electronics correctly and I'm not missing anything).

When using bump feature from the holley does this eliminate the need for the external solid state relay? Pwm capable for dumpvalves?

to make it work you just need power and ground right? the connection between the ecu and this pcm is optional? with that idea in mind, you could have the pcm and an iq3 dash working together and only connecting the iq3 to the ECU over OBD2 for things like speed, rpm etc. right?

Hey Devin What is the maximum amperage draw the racepack can have running through it? 50 -100Amp etc? Edit ...Nevermind looked it up 125 amp

Just tell your customers it’ll make there cars lighter, and they’ll buy it and make your life easier, should be lighter,; less wires, relays, and fuses.
