I am the happiest when Brilliant Classics uploads the CD music I own. All of Rachmaninoff's music here is in CDs that I own. How pleased to meet Brilliant Classics I am!

Oh, how beautiful. I'll listen to it twice... once now and once tonight, as I lay to sleep.

Rach is known for his solo piano works and his concertos - but WOW these chamber works are up there with his greatest music - his gift for melody is the greatest since Tchaikovsky. Leopold Godowsky's daughter said of him - "He was the most Russian of them all, like a cathedral in the snow. Holy, wintry, infinite, he was all the Russias."

Not really. It's a bit bombastic. If you want true beauty I reccomend a symphony of sorrowful songs by gorecki

Right, the popularisation of the art of soviet union era russia is what we really need in this day and age, while this country is committing war crimes in Ukraine and other countries. I believe there’s really no composer to post about today. Great Job 👏
