Agreed. We need to encourage young black men to study mathematics, science, and tech instead of encouraging them to run up and down a field or court while receiving a check from the team’s “owner” aka Master. With these skills, we can become the master of our futures - we control own earning power - we control our own narrative. We are one of the most intelligent people in the world but we continue to limit ourselves because of our generational traumas. We need to be encouraging generational healing through therapy, education, and awareness. We need to be leaders in this future of tech and science

It's sad but true, and why do things always have to fall apart before we want to take a stand and come together. Don't just raise babies to dribble a ball, that's just a way of them siphoning your energy as you play on a quart=court or in an arena. Don't get me wrong not that there's anything wrong with being an Athlete but that's not going to help us, unless the wealth is going to rebuild which most athletes are not doing they're too busy buying unnecessary cars and such,...we all want the finner things in life but not if it means continuously sacrificing my integrity especially while 75% of the people are poor not because they don't try but because they don't fit the profile. And now we are about to experience racism on another level, how many times will we let this record play out before we change the narrative. And it doesn't have to be violent it just needs to be structured. #eachonereachone

Let’s say hypothetically they come together. Where is the venture capital? Where’s the seed money? Without access to capital it is all a pipe dream. Unlike the gentleman who did the video I have been following this issue more closely. Black entrepreneurs in the tech field receive 1% venture funding for tech startups. A few years ago a few Africans sued Silicone Valley for discrimination. There is a great article I read it a few years ago called Silicone Valley has deep pockets for African startups if you aren’t African. Even 80% of the venture funding in Africa the tech industry startups supported in Africa are owned by Europeans. This is a nuance discussion most hoteps and pan Africans are oblivious to the inner workings of the tech industry. To be frank black/African startups will never receive equitable funding in the tech industry or outside the tech industry. Most continental Africans seek out westerners for seed money and venture capital because African nations aren’t willing to invest in these tech startups in the continental states of Africa. Introspect these African tech guys are beholden to American and European venture capitalists. If africans who have their own nations are struggling in the tech startups ois it plausible black Americans who have always experienced not having access to capital. It is pretty much laughable. Black tech startups 2 biggest obstacles are venture capitalists, not receiving seed money and networking. If you don’t know the right people, made social connects with people at PWI’s or come from an elitist circle. There are many mitigating factors.

I know some of us can’t afford a computer, but my understanding is that if you can save for a new pair of Jordans or the next iPhone, then you can buy something that will advance your family’s life as we enter this new era of humanity merged with technology.

@@kevinsuggs1 Do you realize that white countries are only the way they are due to exploiting other nations particularly Africa. Without the resources of Africa the white western countries wouldn't even be what they are and without African people they wouldn't be advance especially America since it was black slave labor that built that country and the Black African American inventors that revolutionized America and the whole world. Also white countries in particular have done things such as put in puppet leaders to control the resources of certain African countries and had leaders who wouldn't go along with their agenda assassinated to keep Africa poor. The white countries stole the resources and committed genocide and other atrocities on the African continent. The so called opportunities not a lot of black people really get since they were excluded or get sabotaged by the governments when they do succeed which is why the thriving black towns in America were systemically destroyed. It also doesn't help that anti blackness is global and black people are seen as lesser globally in the white countries, so yes no future with other groups. As far as human history goes black people quality of life was far better before European and Arab colonial invasion and colonization. Many black people face discrimination in the healthcare system which leads to many not receiving quality healthcare. Western countries are actually declining now with economic strife, social unrest and let's not forget covid19 was damaging western white countries way more while Africa was managing fine. African countries are fighting back and taking back control of their resources which white western countries fear and detest. For example, they told France to leave, so again no future with other groups when they have told us how they truly feel about African descended people.

As a 36-year "tech person", There are many underlying _Assumptions_ in this presentation that need to be challenged: A.) Foremost is this bizarre fantasy of "Our Community". The American Diaspora sub-group of primarily African slave ancestry; has no "community". Certainly not any organized or/and focused community of self-determination. We did about 50 years ago, but that time is long gone. Let's not lie to ourselves. B.) “A slave who cannot assume his own revolt does not deserve to be pitied,” says Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso (channeling the great Thomas Sankara). I have attended tech conferences for the past 30-years both in North America and worldwide. It is _Only_ in the U.S. tech conferences where, among 20,000 to 200,000 attendees, I can still count the number of African Americans participating on my fingers. The FACT of the matter is only 1.9% of software engineers are black (American born vs. immigrant engineers from Africa) compared to 52.3% white and 33% Asian software engineers. This "community" has other priorities, far afield from sacrificing "our" time, energy, effort, and capital to produce people who are educated within the technology field. We deserve no pity. C.) AI isn't anything new. AI is simply a marketing phrase, like Beyonce's "Renaissance" tour. When one visits a ATM or self-checkout at a grocery store, there are algorithms making logic decisions. An algorithm is noting more than a recipe, a step-by-step instruction set of how to solve a task. This is all "AI" is, with the more recent feature of the code running on exponentially faster hardware, and through exponentially faster networks. But all this is irrelevant, because this "community" is far more concerned with buying $800 Beyonce's "Renaissance" tour tickets, another $500 worth of metallic on-time use costumes to go to the concert, and other nonsensical expenses - on _Credit._ At the end of the day, the "Community" get's exactly what it deserves.

Its a complicated problem, one of the benefits of the current "Off-Shoring" of Black men, particularly the SYSBM guys, is to separate themselves from malicious intent and market forces so they could possibly focus on these projects. The kind of tech bros that are seeking better shores are just the type we need to work on this kind of stuff, in decentralized safety and seclusion. A crowd fund could be paid out to develop this tech from abroad, away from US market forces. - (Copied from above in a effort to be positive.) But I agree completely. The main stream of the Black community has poor priorities and is led by the wrong kind of women, but I will say that if Tariq's following can rally to buy a MUSEUM of all things, maybe the case has to be made in the correct way.

@@Baraborn I fully concur with your position. As a "Black" American, my family now _Primarily_ lives between Malaysia and North Africa. This is because I took a job at a Malaysian tech company 20 years ago. My eyes were opened when I found that 25,000 _African_ students (mostly East African) were attending University in Malaysia, where almost half of which were in STEM studies. Malaysia, a smallish SE Asian nation, graduates more African STEM students than does the entire U.S. graduate African American STEM students _every year._ This is true for China, France (of all places), the UAE, Turkey, and other nations. It is important to point out that STEM begins in about the 7th grade - due to the Math requirements. If an entering freshman student isn't "college Calc I ready", they can not even get into the Engineering department of any U.S. University. And to your specific point, arguably this lack of *preparation and ambition* is a result of "Black" children having no male (Father) in the household. Modern "Western" females have a propensity to run-off Good Black males from participating in the family structure. This is not to say there isn't a Valid _Explanation_ for this recent pathology (as Black Women had the HIGHEST rate of marriage of all ethnicities in the U.S. just 60 years ago, and now have the lowest rate), but it is what it is. Considering University is almost FREE in most other nations, especially when factoring the geo-arbitrage of the US dollar, the so-called AA "community" could easily fund 100's of thousands of "Black" students to attend International Universities. But these kids need to be prepared FIRST, and unfortunately the time and effort to do so is simply not a priority in this make-beleive "community" that HTH talks about.

I understand what you are saying and mostly agree but takes like these never take into account the active propaganda and systemic issues that keep us out of these vital industries. Education in America especially in poor black communities is not catered towards creating bright minds and often time parents are products of this same system. We need some active positive marketing or "propaganda" to help change the black communities view that sports and entertainment are our only ways to thrive. It's going to take organized effort but these comments almost come off elitist and dont do anything to actually change our community for the better. We need effective ways for our people to catch up because the math and science required is going to be a barrier for many but I believe it can be done with patience and EMPATHY.

I do not think the developtment of AI is inherently racist. It is technology, physics and maths in it's simplest form, which can not be biased. However, Bias into the AI is only introduced because of "General perception". As someone who has grown up and pretty much live in and off the internett, making a living off creating even more internett infrastructure. I have seen the power of Perception, and have quickly learned. Perception is everything. They way things are percieved, becomes truth. If the broader conciencius on the internett has generally negative towards a certain people group, then that it self will create negative bias towards that people group, even within technology. There is a mountain of work that needs to be done and it is nothing that is going to fix itself anytime soon, but every little thing helps. I am a person who have been extremely blessed by being able to travell all over the world and experience all sorts of culture, having relatives and have lived for periods of time at opposite ends of the world, I have also been blessed by being able to see things from a more "local" percpective than what most people would be able to see. And the one thing I have broadly noticed is the Perception of certain communities, almost every place in the world sees this diaspora with a certain common Bias. The question dosn't nescessarily become, Why is that? But more of How do we prove them wrong? Even if you are in a very disfavorable and disadvantegous situation, that does not stop you to achieve potential greatness and prove everyone thinking otherwise as wrong, Nothing tells this better than the life of the great Chinggis Khan himself, yes, the very man who created the massive Mongol Empire. His life was one of hardship and challange, having to scrounge for survival and even having been captured as a slave, yet he managed to push through and create the largest empire history has ever seen and influenced his peoples culture like no other, No longer were steppe nomads seen as "Primitive barbarians", under his empire, trade, cultural exchange and technology flurished as it was greatly promoted and encouraged and their empire linked the far east with the far west, and his legacy still lives strong to this very day, even though today many Mongols still live the way they have lived for millenia. While we certainly live in a different times today, and I am not advocating to replicate what Chinggis Khan did, certainly not the Violence. The essence of it still stands, Nomatter what starting position you have, regardless how and who put you there, does not prevent you to reach the top. I believe they first of all need to unite themselves, and start off by prooving the general Bias upon them wrong, even if it is one fact at the time. By doing this, then eventual general-concencious of those people that has manifested itself broadly across cyberspace, will slowly change. But that also means one has to spend a lot of effort to remove anyone within your own people group to promotes the negative bias due to their actions. And it is exactly the analogy of the Songhai empire that this video tells you about, that rings truer than ever. One has to start thinking and focusing about the future rather than the past, and make use of what seemingly "unimportant" to help changing the course of history. As it is a matter of scope. AI will inadvertently become Biased if everyone in the internett has that Bias, especially through the open source learning method, which is undeniably the most efficient and rapid way of growing technology, but Open Source is effected by the general concenious of the net. And this is where I think a lot of work needs to be done in order to prove them wrong. Not by punishment and chasing after justice, but by siezing the initiative, taking the lead in the developtment of technology and with that, prove to everyone that you are able to achieve the same if not bigger greatness than them, and that itself will change the general Bias into more favorable conditions.

I will ask it about crime Stats by race (13/52 stuff) and some answer the question with facts, stats, and no BS. Many have refused to answer. I'll also ask it to make something like a Poem or Song about black being beautiful or how amazing black culture is, to Celebrate blackness, etc.. AI has 100% of the time done what I asked. But asking the same exact question about white culture or skin AI 9/10 tells me that's racist and the Bing AI has even said white culture is racist and and to celebrate white people is discrimination against black or POC people....From what Im seeing AI is definitely Pandering to black people as to not offend them or promote a bias, AI has literally told me this without using the word pander. I find AI to be very pro black to a fault as well as racist towards white people.

Or you need to write a more specific inquiry. The A.I. had no problem writing about Welsh culture, or German immigrants for me. These A.I. are not programmed to hate on any race. They are designed to explicitly not indulge in sexual content, or radical ideologies, that includes racial discrimination. Because black and white are broad color groupings, when it comes to culture, it literally cannot summarize something like that because it would be a stereotyped generalization. I also doubt the A.I. “celebrates” any skin tone over the other, rather emphasizes that none should be shunned. If it knows that a certain skin tone is proportionally discriminated against it might write encouragement to that part. Writing about Albino discrimination would certainly prompt solutions on programs to help albinos. The A.I. was also quick to provide me statistics on crime, by demographics I might add, but it seems that you likely wouldn’t take any answer that was not “blacks commit 52%”. Why don’t you go and send the A.I. the article you got the data from and let it look at it for you, because it can read links.

Control over AI in the black community is an excellent idea it was until you brought it up that I thought about it because we cannot stop AI in general what we can do is move forward with this new technology and seek ways of commission to protect our AFRICAN NOT BLACK ALONE BUT AFRICAN PEOPLE

Its a complicated problem, one of the benefits of the current "Off-Shoring" of Black men, particularly the SYSBM guys, is to separate themselves from malicious intent and market forces so they could possibly focus on these EXTREME projects. The kind of tech bros that are seeking better shores are just the type we need to work on this kind of stuff, in decentralized safety and seclusion. A crowd fund could be paid out to develop this tech from abroad, away from US market forces.

Listen. I haven't watched this because I have my own vies on this topic, I find that AI defects humans as black people, anything pure and light are detected as black people or black statues, and most thing that are disgusting or bad are porcelain or pink coloured, when they speak of ancient civilisations they show us black people, happy time black people, even down to their messes the black people tend to be more in order, less disfigured faces more 5 fingers instead 6, I will just say that, because that's my experience with AI.

No, it is the racists that programs the computers who don't like us.

Its not the computer, its the programmers. Perhaps if blacks stop shaking their azzes and started studying tech they’d program AI in their favor. Just a thought. 😏

@@GMAV3RICK I have an even better idea you should stop seeing black people as a monolith because I'm black and I don't shake my behind.
