Longtime viewers might know this, but I already adapted Doomsday Clock in my early days, when the HBO show was on, so people could compare both of the sequels. I know it's not well liked, but I think it's the more accurate of the sequels in terms of character and it has a lot of great moments. The show I see like an interesting "What If?" The movie is as good an adaptation as we could hope for, given the conventions of the genre, and I also love the video game that was released on Xbox Live Arcade, The End Is Nigh. No idea if it ever got onto a disc though. But my favorite extension of the universe is Before Watchmen. It's the truest to the original and the best crafted. I have a pet theory as well, that Adrian's squid bomb somehow rent time and space, and it created all these fractured extensions, and here's why: None of the extensions honor any of the others. There's things in the prequels that contradict both sequels, and vice versa, and they contradict each other. The movie is an alternate universe entirely, and the game is about halfway between the movie and the comic. There is no through line from the beginning of the timeline to the end that doesn't break itself apart in large ways. The only structure that makes sense is the original existing on it's own, with singular branches going out in different directions. Just in case anyone wondered how it all fit together. Well, it doesn't. Anyway, I still enjoy them all for what they are.

I would hazard a guess you watched a Watchmen related video at some point, if you're not generally interested in comics or audio storytelling. Thanks, this came out very well, but I really can't take much credit when adapting Darwyn Cooke, he was a master of the craft of storytelling, both in writing and in art, so it's all there on the page and it speaks very clearly to me, informing how it should be done. Check out his Batman: Ego if you haven't read it, I adapted that as well. And I hope you enjoy the other Before Watchmen series if you continue, I've done about half so far and I intend to resume them soon with The Comedian's.

That's the idea. Back in 1994 my mom got me The Shadow radio show by Orson Wells on cassettes when the movie came out, and that started a lifelong interest in the medium. It really serves something set in this time period well. I hope you enjoy the other Before Watchmen series as well, I do plan to resume them soon with The Comedian's series.

Does that mean that Ursula Vandt (The Silhouette) stumbled upon Acktion T-4? (the Nazi euthanasia program)

Sorry, but I don't know anything more than what's in the book abut any connections to real life events. I focus more on the symbolic meaning of the work. I just saw it as a general disregard for human life and a casualness about it that was horrifying, and that much seems to have been very true to life.
