summary of the video with the time for reference:
1) Proximal Radioulnar joint
-Ulnar radial notch
-annular ligament
both form osteoligamentous enclosure
radius head spins inside the enclosure and over the capitulum
2) Distal radioulnar joint
-Disc is present also called TFCC
-Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex
-biconcave
attaches to radius and ulna
thick margins with good blood supply and perforated at the center.
3) Articulation
proximal and distal radioulnar joints are mechanically connected
transfer of forces happens from the distal radioulnar joint to the wrist.
Concave radius with radial Ulnar notch which has high curvature
Radius moves around the ulna
joint articulation is good with the wrist in neutral.
