I'm a musician and think Ed is the most underpreciated musician in the band for that reason. From all albums you heard the 'weird noises' 90% of it is Ed. He is the master of what we call 'soundscapes'. Those textures you hear. Like who thinks about ending a song with an endless delay going into oscillating?

Tired of seeing boomers comment on every good classic rock song saying “the new generation will never have music this good” oh yeah? This is not the quality of the music that changed it is the business of the music. You could see real artist( in the sense that they were buildind a piece each album had its own universe) being "mainstream" the same artists today are more "underground".

I am a Boomer (57 years chronologically and about 14 mentally), and I totally agree with you! My 22-year old son has turned me on to some great music over the past 8 years, and I honestly believe there are still a lot of amazing singer-songwriters out there! Perhaps Boomers should try to listen to, instead of constantly criticizing, young people and new musicians! Bess Connelly My best concert experience was Rage Against the Machine at Alpine Valley on August 24th 2007. I also thought it was a top experience of my life at the time, I like hearing other times people have rated concerts this high. Radiohead is an incredible band, I have seen them live twice one time was at lolla 09. I couldn't make it to this one unfortunately but thankfully for me there is a lot of great footage out there. If you look up any Rage alpine vids most comments are of how it was there best experience ever. I think it's interesting to see so many people share the same sentiment about live music, it's awesome!
