@@yuval130geeahrs4 It's time to stop relying on Rafa's age whenever is tough. I mean.. That's pathetic. Đoković is a year younger and when did you hear him saying "oh, I'm 35, I'm old"?? - Never. Because that's the state of mind! And they are still competing and proving they're still better than the rest! So, there's no need to make Rafa older than he is! I mean, you can say that for Federer, he's been out of the tour for so long and, obviously, he hasn't been as strong as he used to be for so so long! But these two are still much better than the rest, which means your talk about Rafa's old age is pathetic and superfluous and serves to make Rafa's loss less painful! And that's the fact! (I'm saying this as a huuge Rafa-fan). On the other side, when it comes to Rafa's injury, alright, that's quite concerning, yes, but he's been doing sooo much with all these injuries for years now. That's his fate. And, remember, he has won AO this year with that foot! Which means he is still able to fight and he's still on top. As he says himself - one day is better, the other day is worse. Anyway, the point is - nobody needs you all to make him older and less competitive than he is.

The amount of times Rafa said in the Spanish part of the press conference that this could be his last RG and that Tuesday could be his last match is concerning. Seems like Rafa is starting to think more seriously about retirement. It was all based on the “I don’t know what is going to happen, I’ll do my best to win the match, but at this time of my life, is also true that Tuesday could be my last match here in RG”. He seems to be happy though, but I wasn’t expecting those words coming out of his mouth just yet. 😌

@@Samantha-nv8yx and when he won the AO he said he now had the motivation to come back next year. I think there is something else happening though, and I believe it is directly related to his foot. He refused to talk about it and said he would talk about all his physical issues when he retires, but for now, he wanted to focus on tennis. But I know that his foot condition has a point of no return (no reparation can be done) if he keeps pushing it, so maybe he is about to reach that point where, if he does not fix it soon, he will have to be in pain for the rest of his life. Surgery is the only solution, and he would not be able to run after that.

IMO, the first set was a disaster when it comes to Rafa's game, moving, self-confidence... a complete disaster. Then, next two sets were amazing, there was one completely new Rafa on the court, I, personally, really enjoyed that part of the match. 😍 And after that I couldn't believe what was going on again. It seemed he totally lost his focus or got too tired, I dont know, but he certainly started to play much more defensively with those short balls and stuff. For a moment he seemed helpless again, just like in the beginning of the match. I wish him all the very best for the next match 🙏🏻🍀, but I'm actually not sure if he will be able to do much, and, in my opinion, that's because he doesn't believe in himself strong enough. In the second & third set he showed that he has the game (!!!) and that his form is quite alright, but that lack of focus or whatever happened with all those missed opportunities and unforced errors.. The key is definitely in his mind and that's it. Go, Rafa, find your inner peace and everything will be just fine! ❤🍀

The quarterfinal winner is just so hard to predict. Novak has had quick easy matches, he’s fresh, moving well and confident after winning Rome, plus he’s the defending champ. Rafa has won the title 13 times and leads the head to head 7-2 vs Novak at this event and he’s been tested which should help him. Each man knows how hard it will be to beat the other and has so much respect for one another. I doubt it will be 3 sets, most likely it will be 4 or 5 sets. The cooler conditions and night match favor Novak. On paper the odds makers and analysts should favor him. Anything can happen but Novak surely has an edge going into this match.

Rafa wiil have to play more consistently against Djokovic and have greater depth on his ground strokes for more of the match. Djokovic has barely put a foot wrong this year and will take some beating. The best of luck to Rafa though

Djocovid is sure very happy at listening this situation of Nadal ! He can maybe win against a limping Rafa doesn’t mean he is better! But he will not win RG ! If Rafa doesn’t win Alcaraz wins!

@@sesfabregas88 Straight sets last yr? What have u been smoking? Plus Rafa n Novak have played just 2 times at AO including a hard fought 2012 final.... Has they played more times... Rafa would have more times than Novak against Rafa at RG...Plus Rafa has thrashed Djokovic 2 times in the final at US Open which is hardcourt.... If Novak would have played AO he would have been thrashed by Medvedev in straight sets just lyk US Open last yr... But Rafa, he beat the best hardcourt player Medvedev.

It's already inhuman to be back in the quarters with his injuries. To win here against a Nole in top shape would be outragious. If it's a night session he has no chance.

Nice to see Rafa tak a sip of the Perrier drink, is it apple juice or Water? I wonder if he would have removed it if it was Coke like Ronaldo. What is it with these idiot reporters, about number 1 or beign number 1. In my opinion if your in the top 10 youre as good as a number 1.
