I was looking for this scene on youtube. I think this one scene is an amazing example of Charlotte McBurney's voice performance.

The adaptive triggers of the dual sense makes this fight even better. You can feel Amicia charging up her sling and the impact.

Tbh I was feeling the same hostility and frustration towards every enemy as Amicia. The game is constantly trying to hold you back and lectures you about what's morally wrong or right when you kill people on your way, and I was like: "Dude, stfu already! Why tf are you trying to stop me from protecting my own (as Amicia) and Hugo's life?! Why should I feel sorry for and spare those bastards who are literally out there to KILL US?! What's wrong with you? I'm sure as hell ain't gonna turn the other cheek and be all Jesus and mercy and Kumbaya. I'll obliterate EVERY SINGLE ONE of those motherfukkers if it needs to be!" So of course I was cheering for Amicia like crazy in that scene as she went all in and showed all her raw emotions. That's exactly how I would feel as well if I was in her place. It was a beautiful and satisfying moment of vengeance and power.

I think a lot that went into Amicia’s raging moment here was the futility of everything she was doing beforehand. She was JUST starting to live a normal life with her family until the rats struck again, where she was then forced into killing. Amicia, in this moment, is releasing months of pent-up anger against an army who can’t think for themselves in the slightest. Although it’s almost too easy for her to do (because it is a *video game* and *video games* need to be *fun*), Amicia is fully aware that she is facing an entire army of trained-to-kill soldiers. Her voice breaks and portrays this fear when she states “No, it’s in mine now” after she hears a soldier say some bs about honor. Amicia is still a child btw. Not much time has passed since the first game. A literal child is destroying an army of soldiers with nothing but rocks with elemental effects and brother, I’m all for it. Let me have fun in my virtual video game world.

My favorite part0:55 "That's all you've got?! Come on!" Felt more intense on hard difficulty. 🔥 My favorite Soundtrack is "Arnold's men" the part where you have to run to get to Joseph on the boat is very fun on hard difficulty haha.

It would have been cool to see Alicia's behavior conducted by the player's decisions. For example, she could be more aggressive and temperamental in her interactions with npc's if you choose to kill more often like this as you continue to play, like she enjoys it as some kind of revenge feeling. Or she could be more compassionate and want to convince herself that they are just soldiers and others trying to do what they are told to and support them and their families. Something kind of like what Lucas was saying at times. Maybe i just thinking too deep but I think having an element like that could show how something like this psychologically affects a person, especially one still so young.
