The silent guardian. Truly the dark knight of Indian cricket. Never got the farewell he deserves in his playing career. So so happy for him that he got the farewell he deserved.

People were criticising him just before 50 over wc saying he is too defensive saying he is useless saying he is not good enough, just rewind to time before 50 over wc when most of them shamed him and i am glad he was able to answer to each and every one of them. It was bad luck we couldnt win 50 over wc, a one off final anything can happen, and i am glad he was able to win a world cup finally to silence everyone. Remember guys sometimes even our best might not be enough. But in this case we finally won. It was amazing.

Rahul, what does it feel like to know that you have made this the very best team in the world, in any sport, in any era, period. Around the world, all sporting fans are so mightily proud of this particular bunch of exemplary individuals who happen to play sport. Look at the (humble) way they conducted themselves after "winning". We all owe you, Rahul. Can you please do something with our hockey team, now? [Greetings from Sydney, fellow Old Boy from St Joseph's Bangalore]

Still Team India/Rohit and Co feels for the WC 2023 defeat, it was a unfortunate but you guys came stronger and won the mini world cup. Once upon a time, Australians had a worry about only Sachin until Ganguly/Dhoni entered the picture but now you made them fear to play against the Indian team. It's been effort of Ganguly, Sachin, Laxman , Dhoni,Sehwag, Gambir, Yuvaraj and the great Dravid. Keep rocking
