For sure there less calls needed on tbc,but you can assign pre raid all cd's in wrath like ppl do on retail.

ty for the video! Will you do any wrath videos dealing with pvp at all or only pve? Also if not maybe any suggestions for any wrath pvpers who make videos if you know any? Thank you!

Hey man! Yeah I’m actually planning on doing just a couple pvp videos although they won’t be anything incredibly in-depth as it’s not my specialty
Hey Rugs, I keep finding myself returning to this video as we get closer to WoTLK Classic and I was curious if you had any suggestions for taking your guild to the next level. In vanilla you basically had to carry dead weight in your raid in order to simply have 40 warm bodies, in TBC things are a little more difficult but still players can get away with being sub-par. My guild is looking to improve their standing and quality of players as we move into more difficult content. Do you have any suggestions for finding good players, keep good players interested, or other general ways to build a good core guild in WoTLK classic? Thanks!

Yeah man that's a great question. My first thought is really to just commit to raiding 3 nights a week (even if you're clearing the content in 1 night). That might mean you have to make-up reasons to logon for phase 1 as it's so simple. This means you'd be looking to push your guild into having an alt raid or split raids, organizing 10mans, or achievement runs. By the time Ulduar comes you should have a roster that is used to committing multiple nights a week to raiding and blind-sided by the difficulty or progression that Ulduar brings (similar to SWP). Having multiple 80s means your raiders are forced to play the game in someone else's shoes more often AND get more attempts on farm bosses. Ultimately this just keeps everyone sharp. It's just like practicing for a sport. If you practice 3 times a week, you will be better prepared than a team who only practices once a week.

This might be a controversial take but I've played in some server 2nd - server 3rd guilds on recent wotlk pservers and the raid leading is kinda garbo compared to my tbc classic world top 40 guild. Calling out raid cooldowns isn't a big deal and is the easiest part of raid leading. It is often micromanaged by guild members as opposed to the raid leader. In tbc we are already calling out jewelcrafting necks, innervates, mana tides, misdirects, group wide (not raid wide) bloodlusts, swapping parties for shamans for bloodlusts, swapping parties for mana tides, Swapping in a healer to the spriest group when they are running oom etc. Wotlk is more casual than tbc and the developers did that intentionally through raid wide as opposed to group wide buffs and homogenisation of class buffs. I think you are over exaggerating the 'advancedness' of wotlk. And I think I'm quite impartial since I spend an equal amount of time in wotlk and tbc.

I think that’s a perfectly fair point & critique. Although I think my video (and myself) would 100% agree when you say “it is often micromanaged by guild members” regarding tbc raid mechanics. JC necks, innervate assignments, popping drums, etc. are all just tedious tbc things that give you something to push for since there’s nothing else to do. It’s alllllllll in the raid prep.

Would have been nice to show every cd you are talking about on wowhead and not just a couple of them. Would have made your story a lot clearer. Also, you didnt talk about it, but is there anything other than cleansing totem, mana tide totem and hit buff from draenei that is party wide? Or is everything raid wide? Merry Xmas

Spriest vamp healing, healing stream totem, and gnomish battle chickens are the only other things that come to mind for party-wide buffs
