KZitem, someone or something is preventing notification to my email box and YT account of many of the channels I sub.

I have heard this from others, both here and in some other KZitem related groups. Probably a software glitch. It sounds like unsubscribing then re subscribing and clicking on the bell again fixes the problem in most cases.

Nice little lizard John, my grand daughter will love the one I’m going to make now I have seen this. Your spike seems to be a little longer than ours, and my fairies have yet delivered the power hammer but I can make it work. As to your sponsor, it fits, just, you need to eat so do what you need to do, I will always watch, you are a great teacher! Oh the vice dog for spikes, Ihave made one after watching a video of yours a few months ago, great for spikes and have beaten it almost death after finding it so useful for many other things! Time I updated it ! Thanks mate, keep on keeping on!

Very nice! I find that when making small figurines of this type, such as lizards and insects, the legs can be the most difficult. I like what you did with the tail, it looks organic and authentic. I like to take a chisel or do something to make a suggestion of toes in the feet as well. All in all, very nice!

Great video to give us myriads of ideas to make...in times when many of us have time on our hands. As you were working, all kinds of creatures came to mind. Just got over having cataract surgery and have been "chomping at the bit" to get back out to the forge. I think I might have to make several new design punches for face and body accents. I never liked using RR spikes, but this has gotten me more interested in using them, thanks!

Lovely lizard John. I also like this style of video. Although I also love your narration/tutorial style videos, these quiet/sounds of the workshop style videos are very therapeutic for me and help me to relax after a long day of work. I also use videos like this to help me to fall asleep when my brain won't chill at night. So thank you for teaching, but also thank you for relaxing videos like this one.

No it don’t need to be. Heat it and beat it. Anneal before grinding will make it easier to grind but no reason to for forging.

Hello Mr black bear forge, I have a project I'd like to do however I know almost nothing about forgery, nor do I have the tools, it is a 5ft stainless steel spoon, I'm wondering if you have any specific reference where I could learn how to make one

Stainless needs special treatment after forging to remain stainless. It might be worth looking into options that don't require forging
