Located about 30 miles east of Kansas City, is the Norfolk Southern/BNSF joint line. This high speed joint line is covered by both NS and BNSF Dispatching with one main being owned by NS and the other owned BNSF. As you can tell both railroads use either track. Eastbounds tend to take NS and westbounds tend to take the BNSF. This area sees 50-60 BNSF trains a day, Norfolk Southern runs 10-12 trains a day, Union Pacific has a pair of trains that operate through here and Amtrak's southwest chief also runs through here. Sadly for me, I went here on a slow day as BNSF was doing massive track work. I just wish it was slightly busy, But I still got over 20 trains. Enjoy the video
