Dad bought me a Boyt ‘45 holster from Sonny’s Surplus about 1972, for something like $5.79. I still have it.

The RR gun is a great example of how the war was made up of millions of little stories, from the great generals and battles to some small town official in Germany that joined the party, bought an RZM PPK and probably kept it in a drawer or a holster until the Americans arrived.

~ As long as the party members dues were current, they could order the RZM marked PPK & belt with holster. Most of these I have seen in the past, saw little to no actual use, being mostly a parade gun to be worn in uniform. This one spent little time in the holster, mostly in the box in a desk drawer.

Another interesting video, getting papers about owners or pistols is rare. It is great knowing you are covering this things while leaving EB ring and AH pistol copy to other people. Enjoy your vacation.

It was almost heart breaking to see the Boyt package opened but on the other hand it was exhilarating to see one come out of the package from back then. For a moment I had thoughts that it maybe damaged or the like. I was quite expecting it to be darker in color.
