This was very helpful. The nozzle information of 1 to 8 gal per min assortment was very helpful. I did not know you could change them. In one zone, I have an area that needs a lot of water at 4gpm and another area (same zone) for my dog runs that need to be much less, about 1gpm. In hindsight, I should have split these into two different zones, but I think changing the nozzles will do the trick! :) THANK YOU and my dogs thank you! :)

I see teflon tape reminents inside ready to travel and impede the filter/ nozzle. From what I understand thread tape is not needed.

Another great video. I have to get one of the adjustment tools. I have 4 of the Rainbird 32sa's that I need to install next Spring before the sod. The old ones presently in are old Rainbirds that have been in for years.

great video thanks so much I have replaced several of my heads but never used teflon tape when screwing it back into base is that really necessary???

One thing that I can’t tell or isn’t obvious to me is that after I screwed the base down to snug, I can’t figure out how to set the left stop in the correct direction. When I snugged, the left stop was perpendicular to where I needed it. The +\- adjust everything after the left stop. I tried unscrewing the collar but didn’t seem obvious that that was going to be the answer so I stopped before the stem lost threads and hit me in the face. 😅. Is that the correct was to set the start point? Doesn’t seem right to unscrew/loosen the base just to set/start the left limit. Please help. Excellent video! I understood the rest. Lol

@@RootedLawnCo It did. Just watched your other one and learned the why part regarding funny pipe. I initially was going to just go with T joints and sprinklers in line with those. Never understood why people were using funny pipe. Now I do. Made sure I subscribed right after.

@@kcw131 I appreciate that! & yeah, I just bought some funny pipe and I’ll do a video on replacing sections by my heads with it from PVC. I’ll get a better head angle with the flex. And I think you were my 300th subscriber. Thank you! Spread the word!

Can’t get the nozzles to to spray a fine mist with any distance. I turned the screw down but the spray gets too short. The neighbors has good distance and spray, same heads hes using a #2 nozzle i was using a 3. Everything from the head to the end of the spray turns brown no water in between

How many heads are you running?
@RootedLawnCo

I would reduce the nozzle to a 1.5 or 2. That should help. With that reduction you may even be able to add another hose and head. Remember, you want the end of the spray to reach the other sprinkler head. Head to head coverage.

It’d have to be a small one. The tool is cheap though and allows you to lift the head up to change the gpm nozzle.

You don't really show how to adjust the left stop. The rest most people can figure out with some trial and error, but not the left stop.
