You might not think Graham bonnet is great after listening the 'Live Alcatraz album' 1984 I believe? Although yngwie malmsteen plays better on that recording then he does now. You'd think Alcatraz released the live album for yngwie's guitar shredding I mean it's from 1984 whatever but his attack and feel is pretty cool. Graham bonnet sounds like he partied too much the night before , it's not that bad just little off cause he is great singer. I haven heard in years.

@pashadio

I Remember seeing this tour at the Oakland Auditorium the opening act was a young artist named Johnny Cougar and his group the zone. Well he tried to play that easy listening farmer music to our crowd and he was booed of the stage. I remember the crowd pelted him with cups and trash and and anything they could get their hands on just to get him off the stage. And him and his band just stopped performing mid song because of the loud chorus of boos and middle fingers from the crowd. And John Cougar Mellenkamp said well we could have played longer but you wouldn't let us . 'SO FUCK YOU' and he had to run off the stage. Then Bill Graham came out and said listen here you people we have to have order if you don't stop this i will stop the show. Show went on then came Motor city Madman Ted Nugent to the roar of the crowd "Uncle Ted" Kicked Ass as always then came this version of Rainbow with Graham Bonnett on vocals. They were Ok . I prefer Dio . But i have to admit that Graham has performed and recorded with some of my favorite guitarists. Blackmore. Malmsteen. Schenker. Vai. Not to shabby of a resume for a rock vocalist.

Who did better that night as a guitar player Ted or Ritchie? Disregard their legacy....just that night.
