RAINN x Sana Present: Rising with Resilience, a musical concert in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The program features music performed by Juilliard violinists Hana Mundiya and Angela Wee, the founders of Sana. Music by AAPI composers are prominently featured in the concert, and survivors from RAINN’s Speakers Bureau and more will share messages of healing, community, and resiliency.

Sana was co-founded by violinists Angela Wee and Hana Mundiya from The Juilliard School. Both native New Yorkers, Angela was born to South Korean immigrant parents, and Hana is of Japanese, Indian, and Pakistani descent. Sana performs concerts featuring music by Asian female composers to raise awareness on gender-based violence and funds for organizations.
