RAJ BHOG ICE CREAM RECIPE :
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Milk
2 cups Cream
¾ cup caster sugar
¼ teaspoon Saffron Strands
1 ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
½ cup Pistachios, roasted and slivered
¼ cup Almonds, roasted and slivered
¼ cup Cashews, sliced
Method:
In a mortar & pestle, add saffron strands and 1 teaspoon of sugar and grind to a fine powder. Keep it aside. Gently warm the milk, cream, sugar and above saffron powder. Let the ice cream base come to room temperature. Add sliced nuts and cardamom powder. Then cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours, or overnight for best results. Serve this ice cream topped with more roasted mixed nuts.
