Hi Chris, I enjoy every moment of your explanation while you driving and was great to have a trip on the NH

Thanks bud! I don't have a format for what I'm going to talk about. I just start blabbing. Lol. I really glad you enjoy it. Thanks for always taking the time to watch my friend!

Thanks for the ride along & updates. Triple digit heat & bucking bales, that's always fun. Not. 😂😂 Now you can load the hay on those Ol' Farm Trucks & your trailer to get the hay to the barn. Take care & don't over do it in that heat.

We had a pretty rough time getting that hay in the barn.. that was the least fun bucking bales I've ever had. Lol

Looks like you have the blue work horse back 👏 If I heard that correctly sounds like you can make some good money making hay in your area .... here in Illinois I think every thing is done per acre for the mowing and raking or tedding ,and by the bale for baling... I actually used Iowa's custom rates a couple years ago, they were more current than Illinois U of I rates at the time ....good luck buddy, hammer down 😉👏

Yeah, most people do by the hour for smaller fields in my area. For larger fields, like for dairy men, you'd go by the acre. My rake won't make grade for most of the dairy guys around here. They've got 28' and bigger! Sure is nice making a few extra bucks with the custom stuff though!

Even in piddly areas, I enjoy using a V-rake... though spend more time turning but does a much better job and still quicker in the end. Heck even for some piddly areas I'll rake a bit of it with a small 6-wheel rake to make it just right for the v-rake to finish it off into a nice windrow for easy baling. Been brutal heat-wise all over. It is balancing out for the past 3 years. I think we've hit 100 degrees more times this year than we have all of the past 3 years combined, and only through June! Doesn't help that the water shut off, compounds worse.

Yeah, the heat is a tuff break for all. I feel for you guys in the upper midwest. This might be hard to recover from for some folks. As far as that rake goes, I'm happy as a clam! It does such a nice job, no roping, and the speed is unmatched. What a joy

trade ya rakes... on handling those rake sides best advice is it will get easier once you put your man weight on. get Mrs Denny to put you a few extra sandwiches in your lunch pail

Yeah, I straddle them when trying to get that pin in the ball joint.. I have to laugh, because most of the time I don't weigh enough to effect it. Ha ha

Glad your busy! Is that the field that someone wrecked their mower on the well head in?

Nope, the scenario you're thinking about is the one down the road. I did see marks on this one that indicated for sure that someone had smacked into it. Poor guy!
