In this Shakedown, we're hoping to prove that getting the rules wrong isn't a problem at all, and may even be beneficial to you.
Rallyman has multiple versions. I'm most familiar with its latest incarnation, and have never laid eyes on the original game, yet somehow I've been playing Rallyman by its old rules rather than its new rules - and that's no bad thing.
We're going to use a few of those old rules to see whether they still work in todays Rallyman, and if they do, maybe we'll want to keep them around to play this game in new (old) ways.

SHAKEDOWN is a showcase of Rallyman and the community that makes it what it is. From variant rules to recreated race tracks, from serious strategy to silly situations to find yourself in, I want to highlight anything and everything that makes this game shine, much of it community created content.
What would you like to see the most? What aspect of Rallyman hasn't been explored enough? Which circuits are hidden gems? What rules do you insist others try out for themselves? Let me know, and be sure to spread the word about whatever great Rallyman content you find on your travels.
The various Rallyman rulebooks can be found on their respective game pages on BoardGameGeek (boardgamegeek.com/boardgamefa..., and the forums are full of knowledgeable players eager to passionately argue what the right rules even are.
