Love the original Air Land Sea - you described the gameplay and tension perfectly. It’s cool with each successive play your strategy gets better because you know the cards better. Both Withdraw and Improvise introduce so many mind game potential!

I told you guys about Air, Land & Sea a year ago 😁. I also normally would never be interested in War Games, but this is a card game with a random theme, but it's a very good card game! Glad you finally got to play and even happier that you liked it!

I'm definitely interested in Critters at War. I like those types of games anyway (like Schottentotten or Babel), and the added element of choosing whether to give up a location seems super interesting. I'm also still curious about Luna Capital. I'll have to watch a playthrough I guess to get a feel of how it plays. Thank you for the reviews!

The card game you describe might be Spades rather than Hearts. I don’t think Hearts is usually played with partners. So two of these games are lighter city building games. How do you think they compare to something like Quadropolis.

Spades sounds right 😅 I like Quadeopolis better than both! Quadeopolis is still my favorite light city building game!

Hello, I arrive late to your review. I would like to know how do you compare Luna Capital to Santa Monica or Calico, if you have had the chance to play them and rank them in terms of deep, tightness? How does Luna Capital works at two players count, lose some tightness? Thank you!

Haven’t played Santa Monica, but regarding Luna Capital vs Calico I would say they feel very different and have little in common. What you are trying to acheive by placing tiles in your grid and how you draft tiles make the two games stand apart from each other. Luna Capital is less tight, considering the strict way to score points + randomness in Calico. I think two players works well in Luna Capital, as you’ll have the same number of options available at all player counts :)

@@sunnivavarjord Thank you Sunniva for your impression at two on Luna Capital. Ultimately I enjoy more watching your videos than even playing novelties for sure I spend more time watching the channel. Thank you both for all the care towards the community. Best wishes.

I was interested in Neoville before it came out, when there was very little info released about the game. After its release and finding out more, I was not at all interested. Your review reinforces my decision not to pursue this game.
