5:20 I love Paul’s face when he says “all six of us thought it was good, all six” because in German it’s pronounced the same way as sex

15:20 Till and Flake have a very special chemistry, I have read that at first Flake did not like the members of the band especially well, even the ones he met before, but he has said that with Till he always felt comfortable from the first times he dealt with him and I think they convey that on stage, Flake trusts him. 💕

You’re right. Flake has stated that in the beginning of Rammstein, he had known Paul and Schneider for so long that he was tired of them. Schneider and Paul didn’t get along. Flake was scared of Oliver because he is the tall, dark silent type. Flake thought Richard was a loser. For one reason or another Flake and Till connected right away. The fact that they were even able to start the Rammstein project to begin with is kind of amazing. I don’t know what they did to make it work but I’m glad they did. Over two decades of personal and professional ups and downs and they still manage to stay together. They have said that they are way past beings friends. It’s an unusual family unit/marriage they made with each other and we all know that it wouldn’t work they same if one person left.

@@Musingsofawitch One of the funniest things I read is when they knew each other, Flake and Till,( they have a friend in common) Flake was too drunk and till didn´t speak a word, in the middle of his tiny little carpenter (all made by himself )house, Flake came back sober "I really like him, he speaks a word in an hour" they go to vacation together, they´ re great friends.

Jonas lives in the US, so they use him when they tour here. I think it was a lazy decision of convenience. Rammstein did that with the beach video Jonas directed "Mein Land"

Mein Land is a pretty cool video though, but I agree on ITDW. It‘s definitely not amongst my favourite videos from them.

Jonas has done a lot of videos , id say a traditional video is not his typical style. His most well known is probably Smack My B*tch Up by Prodigy (also featuring lewd scenes) , Paparazzi & Telephone by Lady Gaga, Beautiful by Christina Aguilera and Canned Heat by Jamiroquai

👩🏻🦰 one of the reasons why Rammstein is my favourite band...so unique since 1995. Cheerful music with dark lyrics about s/m practices and torture. You wanted to know whats written on Flake's wardrobe memo paper, the text just means: " belt for the leather coat " .Flake is at his best in this making of, talking sh*#*t, as always, and is in a very good mood. XD

Fun fact this song was banned in some cities of Germany because the dark and explicit lyrics (they are disturbing haha). They replace the song for Rein Raus in that few cities on the LIFAD Tour

12:04 I think physical pain is a way he finds to connect with his character on stage, in videos or in songs, even with his poems. There are some sheets of his poems that sold expensive because they were stained with his blood, he cut himself one night at the hotel to give the matter drama 😂

There are much more explicit Rammstein songs, with much tougher themes and can you believe that for this song the album lasted for a while in Germany? It had to be sold illegally practically 😂

Lyrics: [Verse 1] You are alive just for me I stick medals in your face You are completely devoted to me You love me, because I don't love you You bleed for my salvation A small cut and you become horny Your body, now totally disfigured No matter, what is allowed, happens [Verse 2] With you I have to option to torture Barbed wire in the urethra Put your flesh in salt and pus First you die, but then you live on Bites, kicks, hard punches Needle, pliers, dull saw Whatever you wish, I don't say no and insert rodents into you [Bridge 1] You are the ship, I'm the captain What's the destination of the journey? I see your face in the mirror You love me, because don't love you [Chorus] I hurt you It doesn't hurt me It's good for you Listen how it screams I hurt you It doesn't hurt me It's good for you Listen how it screams And maybe also the reason that they did not implement this in visual language, but instead performed the simulated live performance.

When you've finished the LIFAD songs you should definitely check out the Making of LIFAD. It's about 20 minutes or so long. It was a bonus documentary on the Madison Square Garden bluray They also had another documentary on there Rammstein in Amerika, which is a 2 hour long awesome retrospective of their times in Amerika. It's great and insightful. It has a few songs from the Mutter album in the background you probably haven't heard, such as the amazing Nebel, Zwitter and Adios They would probably need a filter on here though, just don't filter the subs! Lol
