The aircraft does on its own when it senses power at the connector

they tend to make a sideways "T" with their hands facing the cockpit

@@CPA0908 Thank you too. But in India I noticed that in order to indicate the pilots that the GPU is connected, they don’t show the sideways “T” but instead communicate to the pilots via the headset that it is connected.

@@ramperryan speaking about air packs I noticed something in your videos and at London Gatwick airport. Why don’t you use the air conditioner unit in order to avoid the plane using the air packs?
