Im 44 now and still listen to all of the favorites. The punk shows from my days skating across L.A. and going to as many punk shows as possible. The 90s were an amazing time for music it was magical for sure.

You do realize he was also one of the founding members of Operation Ivy as well, right? They basically restarted the ska scene in the late 80's and early 90's. The British Two Tone scene had all but died.... they kick started a whole new era of ska and ska punk bands.

Not sure if this is accurate or not, bit I am pretty sure I was one of the first radio DJs to interview Lars. He was in Sacramento getting ink done and he called the radio station. It was the first time he had heard their song on the air and he called in to say thanks! Cool dude, good to hear they're still cranking it out!!

@Billy Myers Don't get me wrong, Rancid's been one of my all-tine favorite bands since I first saw the video for 'Salvation' on MTV back in '94 (I think?). But even as a diehard fan I gotta admit that, from at least this short clip, that sounded kinda bad imo. That's the only reason I said I was sorry, cuz I know if I drove 11 hours to see a concert, if that concert was anything but stellar I'd be pretty upset, ya know?
