Thanks for the shout out. I love that saying as well. Your hoya babies look great. My Queen is in full bloom. My Compacta which I inherited from my SIL after Super Storm Sandy flooding (2012) has never bloomed in my care. Might have been the salt water she took on, but she looks healthy after rehabing her. One of those mysteries. I just got a tiny variegated Compacta yesterday. It will take forever to grow...decades. I love the parallel pep but I never see them here.

Thank you Ava!!! I just watched summer rayne oaks’ video and the home plant tour owner said she heard that spraying your Hoyas with orchid fertilizer encourages blossoms - I wonder if that might work! Oooh, jealous of your variegated Hoya. That’s gonna be on the top of my wishlist - any variegated Hoya of any kind once I make some room. I had an old co worker who wanted to give me this huge 4 gallon container of variegated Hoya cuttings, but they were infested with some sort of brown bug spots, so I accepted and said thank you and tossed them in the garbage 😭 lol. That’s like gifting someone a rancid bottle of wine.

@@Botanibabies I do spray my hoyas with Miracle Grow orchid fertilizer. I will definitely use it on my new one. I watched that video. The plant owner was a joy.

I love your voice. So easy to listen to. I love the pixie lime peperomia and bought a small one for $5 at Trader Joe’s and guess what? Root rot lol. Not too many channels talks about the pixie lime. Yours are growing beautifully. I can’t wait for mine to root. It’s been I think 2 weeks now and there’s only a little bit of root coming out. I came across a few plants I bought that were root rotted and I saved it all. Next time, I will check the roots first before buying. Some comes in soil that I don’t like and I changed the soil as well and they are doing good thank goodness. I’m only a month and few days in to planting and have over 30 plants lol. Lots of learning and challenges which is fun for me 😁. Loving the updates.

Thank you so much for the kind words Doanh ❤️🤗!! I am only down to 1 pixie lime plant since my thrips infestation 😭. Hoping this one can survive and grow 🤞🏽lol. Wow 30 plants in a few days!! It can definitely be addicting 😂

@@Botanibabies Oh noooo! Poor plants. These pests are savages. Plants are absolutely addicting, but I manage to stop buying plants because the gnats kind of discouraging me lol. I don’t think I can handle too many plants in our house. Right now, less than 40 plants is perfect to have time to care for them and keep them clean with each watering. More would be nice but I’m learning from youtubers not to have so many 😆. Looking forward to your update on the pixie lime and more videos 🤗.

That is interesting, because it sits at my sunniest window already. We shall see what happens with the pups and see if they stay light 🤓🪴

My Hoya Kerrii petioles were in the pot for a year before new growth sprouted from the soil. For a year all I saw was the leaf but I never gave up. Keep patient and your petioles may also sprout

This gives me hope, Ruth!! If I had to guess, my zz petioles have been in soil since November, but I’m not sure if it’s 2019 or 2020 😂. I will keep them and continue to be patient. Same with my rubber tree petioles, but I’m hoping at least one of them will grow! I’m thinking of digging one of the bulbs up and see what it looks like in there 👀🪴

Thanks Meliha ❤️! I am too, they seem to have popped out of nowhere in the last year. It’s my consolation for all the plants I had to get rid of maybe lol
