+Robb M That spotter is ridiculous. He looks like the queen waving at the crowds. In the very tricky spot, he didn't even move for the driver to be able to see him (which was frankly okay.)

Anyone know if this is one of the rare “HD” LR3’s with the factory rear locker? They all have a center locker, but only the HD’s have a rear as well. I have two of these beasts, and if you treat them right and keep ahead of scheduled and preventative maintenance when needed, they will easily last 300-350 miles before needing a significant overhaul. And yes, that maintenance, like any modern advanced vehicle, will cost more than a corolla to service and maintain... and yes, likely more than a Jeep, but my goodness these things are worth it.

That's the problem with the air suspension lifting it super high instead of giving it soft travel Movement Like Springs it just jacks it up really high. Also the lack of articulation because no solid axles but it feels better on the street than the solid axle discovery.. kind of unless has Ace still

I wanted to hate this vehicle. Its "unreliable", its heavy, its seen picking up kids at the movies instead of on the trial etc... But you have to give it the respect it deserves. Its not a Sami because who the hell wants to drive that over 55MPH anywhere? Sadly they will not last the test of time due to the multitude of onboard computers, but while they are here you have to give the engineers credit. I am a die hard Toyota guy, but yotas truly have no soul. They are appliances that just work. I am picking up my lightly used mall crawler Lr3 this weekend. Wish my wallet luck!

+carbiify Not sure about a cayenne, but it's a piece of cake in a stock 4runner or Tacoma. I've seen a video out there of a Subaru Forester going up it too. For a good driver it's pretty easy in most stock 4wds. It's a bit harder in a unibody crossover like a forester or a Land Rover, but not terrible.
